Production & Post-Production Responsibilities
Context and Outcome
When its Canal+ broadcast came to an end in 2018, Effets Papillons was revived on YouTube with a complete digital release, backed by TF1 and its online production arm, Studio71. I joined the team as an editing intern to support the adaptation of the show’s investigative documentaries for an online platform. My role focused on re-editing archived episodes specifically for YouTube, ensuring compliance with platform and legal requirements, including visual anonymization of sensitive content. I also worked on adjusting structure, pacing, and formatting to meet digital viewing standards while preserving the editorial intent of the original reports. This experience gave me hands-on exposure to real post-production constraints and strengthened my ability to adapt long-form documentary content from broadcast television to digital distribution
